Educational Qualification: Candidates should pass minimum Intermediate Class 10+2 standard from any recognized board/ university. Typing and shorthand knowledge is required for clerical posts.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs.300/- for General/OBC category and Rs.75/- for SC/ST categories, payable at any branch of State Bank of India through bank challan form.

Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in preliminary examination and main examination.

IBPS, an autonomous body, has been authorised by the IBA and has received mandates from 19 Public Sector Banks to conduct the recruitment of Clerical Cadre posts twice in a year for their requirements.

A Common Written Examination (CWE) will be conducted on 27/11/2011 by the IBPS as a pre-requisites for selection of personnel for Clerical Cadre posts in the following 19 Public Sector Banks.

Application Fee : Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque of Rs.200/- for the post of Steno and LDC and Rs.100/- for the post of Peon to be drawn on the State Bank of India in favour of Regional Director, ESI Corporation, Chandigarh payable at Chandigarh.  (ST/ST/Ex.SM/Women/PH candidates are exempted from fee)
