Application are invited from Indian Citizens for engaging Seven Project Scientists as per the following details for engagement on Project Mode (Contract) basis in India Meteorological Department (IMD), a subordinate office of Ministry of Earth Sciences for a period of one year.
1. Project Scientist "D" - 04 posts
Age Limit : 40 years as on 01/07/2010
Remuneration : Rs.40,000/- (fixed)
Qualification : Master’s Degree in Atmospheric Sciences/ Physics / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Communications and Networks / Remote Sensing / GIS / Hydrology / Water Resources / Information Technology (OR) Bachelor Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute or equivalent.
2. Project Scientist "C" - 04 posts
Age Limit : 35 years as on 01/07/2010
Remuneration : Rs.38,000/- (fixed)
Qualification : Master’s Degree in Atmospheric Sciences/ Physics / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Communications and Networks / Remote Sensing / GIS / Hydrology / Water Resources / Information Technology (OR) Bachelor Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute or equivalent.
