Directorate General Border Security Force (BSF) recruitment of General / OBC / SC / ST candidates as Head Constable (Radio Operator) / Head Constable (Fitter) and Assistant Sub Inspector  (Radio Mechanic) in BSF Communication set up 2010

1. Head Constable (Radio Operator): 500 Posts
2. Head Constable (Fitter): 33 Posts
3. Assistant Sub Inspector (Radio Mechanic): 112 Posts

Physical Standards: Height - 170 cms, Chest - 80 cms (85 cms after expansion)

Application Fee: Application should be accompanied by a Crossed Bank Draft / Indian Postal Order for Rs.50/- only for Gen/OBC candidates as the examination fee in favour of The Inspector General or DIG/Comdt to whom the application is addressed payable at respective SBI/ post office 1 lovvever. the SC/ST and Departmental candidates are not required to submit examination fee.

How To Apply: The prescribed format of application along with Attested photo copies of educational qualifications and date of birth. Three recent passport size photographs, duly attested by a gazetted officer, One each to be pasted on the application form and admission card and third one to be attached with application form. Application should reach to the addressee on or before 09/10/2010.

Qualification : Three years Diploma in Radio/Tele-communication/ Electrical/ Electronics/ IT/ Electrical Communication Engineering recognised by Govt. of India OR Degree with Physics as one of the subjects from a recognised University OR Degree in Engineering in the relvant field from a recognised University OR Diploma in Sound Recording and Sound Engineering awarded by FTII, Pune.

Desirable : Knowledge of Wireless or Radio Engineering

Age : 18-27 years as on 02/08/2010. Age relaxation as per Govt. orders.

Selection Procedure : The recruitment will be made on the basis of written test of two hour duration on 24/10/2010 at 11.00 AM at different centres in India.

How to Apply : Applications should be submitted in the prescribed OMR Application Forms. The application fee is Rs.100/- (Rs.25/- for SC/ST/PH/Ex-Serviceman), which can be procured from the main branch of SBI from the list provided in the detailed advt. upto 30/07/2010. Or can  also be collected from various other agencies as well as by post also. Please read detailed advt. carefully to know the procdure and procure applicaiton form well in time.

The application should be submitted to the respective Zonal Chief Engineers on the basis of zone opted for,  by post or courier or in person so as to reach on or before 02/08/2010.
